The differences are too subtle for me. I mean, yeah, there's an obvious difference, but what did they really do? Stretched out the nose so it resembles the original and actually put some vents on the bumper. The rear is a little less bulbous and drops down smoother. Then they used less gay rims and stopped putting fake flowers in the cup holder.
I think the last one might have just had so much of a negative effect that it ruined everything for me though. That might be it.

I never see the point in buying the "cheap" Benzes. Their level of equipment is always only on par with the Japanese counterparts that cost thousands less without the mark-up for the star badge. Even on design and materials, sometimes they're even worse than the competition.

This is the A/CLA-Class interior. Look at the navigation unit. It literally looks like a tacked-on afterthought. It will be highly amusing when people start smashing in CLA windows to try and grab these things.

Once you realize that having a car is a necessity, a low-mileage lease is always the way to go. Most luxury car makes like BMW include totally-free maintenance when you lease (BMW does it if you finance too I believe).

Low monthly payments for 3 years, then when that's up you can easily move onto something new. This is how that neighbor down the street is able to have a new BMW 7-Series parked in his driveway so often.

Why make a car payment every month and be stuck with a car that is now old and depreciated?

I drive an Alfa atm and for the last 50k all i had to do other than the regular check up is replace the window washers.

Had a fiat bravo and a lancia ypsilon (2001) before with no problems whatsoever. They are relatively costly in maintenance though compared to let's say Civics or Golfs.

If you are looking for something for the sport enthusiast, go with the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ. It's gotten rave reviews and it's a somewhat sought after car these days.

Anyway, here's some other cars to consider. They're all smart choices in my opinion. Their styling is not far out there, but at least they're not ugly. And they all go for about $30k MSRP in the US. Most of them are from the Jap luxury brands.
