So I've lurked this board a bit, and I just have to ask a question.

Do you all really think this stuff is cool or is it a troll?

It's so try hard I have to cringe at times. It even puts fedora/trench coat to shame. You have to know that when someone sees you in public wearing this stuff, they immediately think of all the extra time you took to arrange the whole get up. Funny to imagine someone putting all these 2cool4u accessories on and thinking "Yeah this is gonna be so edgy and badass!!"

Just so you know: you're telegraphing yourself as a beta who needs to make up for his lack of an interesting personality with super deep alternative clothing.

Pic related: just found it browsing the front page

OP here.

Though artists do often craft personae, making art does not mean you are crafting a 2cool persona.

Wearing certain kinds of clothing seems all about crafting a certain kind of persona.

The clothing posted on this board seems specifically designed to give off that "PLZLOOKATME"/"2COOL" vibe. It just ends up looking like a costume, a complete act.

cool, so you know exactly what is going on in the minds of every single person who buys fashionable garments. it's not likely that the clothing meets our taste, our standards for design objects, and fits in with our lifestyles, because then it would be reasonable and that doesn't jive with the narrative that your insipid trolling hinges on.

albeit, OP's pic doesn't really go in the direction of high fashion either (was it supposed to?). That's just a kid who takes Rick Owens too seriously. >hey i cant link you to the shirt, i bought it from a guy who does really small quantities of screen printed band tees, he doesnt really sell online, but there are some really cool tg tees floating around ebay.

>this is the album the print is based on this album cover
