I like the old CDG, and I can perfectly see how is Rei a visionary, but their latest menswear is absolutely terrible. It looks like a joke, and as much as I love their womenswear (especially collections like F/W and S/S 12) Rei needs to retire from designing the mainline menswear.

Except it's not. What ideas from the mainlines are "diffused" into PLAY? It's a separate line, with separate goals, and a separate customer base. It's fine if you don't like it, but maybe it wasn't made for you to like it.
