When will this abhorrent 'sneaker' fashion fad end? I seriously thought it was going to go when everyone realised Nike Frees actually look like shit, but no everyone just decided to jump back on their dick with the roshe. When are people going to understand that runners/sneakers are the worst possible mix of style when trying to be fashionable.

but at least these shoes have a fashionable and aesthetic appeal to them. Runners just look like a bunch of synthetics someone slapped together so their feet can sweat easier when they work out.

It's actually disgusting and I can't wait for this fad to pass, just like the short lived quilted/down jackets and gillets.

Hey op, I bet if you make enough angry threads and cherrypick enough pictures and arguments, people will stop wearing sneakers altogether.

Or maybe it reflects a changing trend in our species, moving away from workwear and recontextualized militaria towards stylized sportswear and playful shapes. Maybe it's what the people want now. Maybe it reflects our needs. Maybe your opinion doesn't matter all that much. Maybe mine doesn't either.
