I can't decide whether or not to get doc martens, I'm a 6'1" skinny guy and $189 is a lot of money for me, by far the most I've ever spent on any shoes. So can I get some opinions on the boots pleaseee?

quality has dropped since they started outsourcing to china but as for looks they're timeless and will never go out of style, quality is still decent for price point. it's a very safe purchase, go for it just make sure you have the sizing right

Nah, Solovair used to produce DM until, I think, the 90s. Then Docs got their own factory, then outsourced. Solovair have been in the same place the whole time.
