i don't get what you mean when you say he does shows? is that... a bad thing? he already did an eastpak collab too. i have confidence that the adidas collab will be rad from a design perspective, i don't know about the production, but i doubt they will be made in china given the slated price point.

i think these kind of markets exist in all sects of culture its just that maybe the asian ones are more well documented.
as far as i know im pretty sure this exact thing happens/happened to a p.similar extent in small arabic mediterranean countries (Bahrain, UAE, Yemen etc) esp. in ref to 'royal families
or decedents of prominent religious figures (caliph's etc)
