All those people with side swept hair styles. Do you have to use a hair straightener/iron to get your hair to stay to the side?

nah, not at all. more like a blowdrier.

sweep your hair to the side, flatten it with your palm, then procceed to heat it up with a blowdrier, all this while your hair is somewhat damp.

if you're a male, pomade is your best friend.
