There are better canvas shoes that go with everything now though. Chucks are good for a certain look, but that look is very outdated. Solid colors are in.

Chucks are okay but if you really care about fashion you would probably be looking for something a little better. They look okay when new/slightly worn but when they are beat up they look like shit

I own a pair of white hight top chucks and i've gotta say i love them because they go with anything, they have this slim look as opposed to every other white sneaker i have had although they are a bit uncomfortable depending on what you are used to wear.
I would say that while they dont particularly add /fa/ to your image, if you dont mess up horribly they are pretty safe to wear.
