Yeah, I'm no longer a fan of N&F denim because I see too many Asians wearing them.

I'm also no longer a fan of Vans because I see too many Blacks wearing them.

I also avoid any footwear by Red Wing because I saw a few Asians wearing them.

Minorities are ruining everything for me. Even work. I quit my previous job, which was well paying, because my manager was Black. I did not want to work for a Black man that should have been working for me.

some minorities are great, like japs and negroes. some, like the chinese and eastern europeans, are a real mixed bag. but some are pretty consistently awful. arabs and persians, as well as some of the poorer asian regions, come to mind

I don't like all of the cultures and attitudes that people bring here from what I don't feel embarrassed to call inferior cultures. I'm not neurotic about racial differences, and to give one example of a prejudice I don't have, I have nothing but warm feelings about the Jewish people. I think cultural relativism is racism; it says that I don't think the great values of our culture can be relevant to people in other parts of the world. I don't feel that way. I think we have made tremendous positive changes toward freedom and quality of life in the western world that should be available to everyone, and I think democracy and human rights are made for export.

And I don't like it when rough-looking recent immigrants from the middle east wear track suits and Adidas sneakers. Lock me away for hatespeech. #lol

boat shoe sneaker hybrids are hideous and bro-tier. you should avoid boat shoes unless you will only wear them when it's weather-and-event-appropriate (no boat shoes in fall or at a semi-formal occasion) and you can afford a decent pair ($200+). If you want to go cheap, get regular sneakers.

generally you should avoid pre-faded jeans because it looks a bit contrived. Not always, but generally.

well, brown typically means leather. And brown leather can be hard to pull off right in a sneaker, especially an inexpensive one. For your shoes, I'd steer clear of brown right now unless you wanted to go for a different kind of shoe at a higher price.

Pic is an example of a well-done brown sneaker, but it's very expensive relative to the sneakers in this thread.

Most people don't start out liking brown, it's something you realize you needed all along once you've already started. I notice a lot of people start out (as teenagers) wanting, like, grey canvas, or purple, or something like that. As I started to get more "into shoes" I wanted navy leather boots; opportunity arose to get brown instead, and it turned out to be the better decision. Brown or natural leather complements casual outfits fantastically. colorful shoes can be fun, but they aren't nearly as versatile, and you get bored of them faster.
