These are my favourite chino shorts that I own, but I can never find anything that looks good with them.

Suggestions? Or are they actually ugly and I'm just being delusional?

why are you struggling to wear neutral coloured chino shorts?
they're embroidered, so you have to be slightly careful with any other patterns, but you could wear almost anything.

It has to be the color of the pattern or similar if not the same color as shorts .. In this case wearing anything plain would give off a bottom heavy impression. A dark top that matches the color on the pattern would balance the outfit perfectly
