Hey /fa/. Not sure if this falls within your area, but is there any effective method for getting rid of redness on my face?

Also, not me in picture. Can take a picture of my face if necessary, but the colors will probably be even more off.

Possibly Rosacea: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosacea

Otherwise lose weight.

Some stoners - and trust me, your picture isn't doing favors - experience reddening of the face from weed

It affects a small group but still a possibility

I had that shit, went away with a good facial exfoliating scrub and moisturiser. If it's not dry and irritating it's probably something else. Is it recent or have you always had it? Some people just have rosy cheeks.

Not weight-related, I'm already Auschwitz. If anything I should be gaining.

>>6261686
Never done weed. The guy in the picture might be, idk, I just found it on Google from "facial redness".

>>6261694
Not sure for how long, but I started noticing it slightly over a year ago. I've been using a facial exfoliating scrub every other day for the past few months and a moisturizing lotion every day for as long. It's also not very dry nor irritating - it only bothers me because of the visual perspective.

Also, my redness is more subtle than in the picture which is why I think it'd be hard to take a helpful personal picture. For me, it's mostly under my eyes/besides my nose. The sides of my cheeks aren't as affected.

I experience some reddening of the face after I shower, but it's not pigmentation related like OP pic

The solution for me? I was taking showers that were WAY TOO hot

I've seen other anons mention if you like hot showers, just work your way down to cold before you get out

Feels like it's burning

Yep that's what I had. It'll take a while but moisturiser and scrub will fix that shit up. I also used a soothing aftershave balm to combat the burning sensation, but I'm not sure if that'll help or not.

Mines not just after showering though. I used to take my showers a bit too hot, but I'm down below that "safety stop" or what-you-call-it now.

Trying to interpret that picture; are you saying that it's somehow related to my computer monitor?

>>6261739
Hm. That's what I'm currently doing, but I haven't really seen any effect on the redness yet. I'll keep hoping I guess.

I do believe that prolonged computer use can adversely affect your skin. The eyestrain leads to stress which leads to redness etc.

y is your face so small? looks like a cartoon

>> No.6261765

Try using aspirin on your face. It's an NSAID, so it should reduce swelling and redness. Google Aspirin Facial. I've had great results with it.

You can take Oracea...an antibiotic for controlling rosacea.

Otherwise, lose 15lbs please.
