I'm sure he probably won't but I'm just curious in general if there's any makeup that doesn't come off in the water. Having acne is suffering. I'm tired of taking 20 minutes extra out of the day to apply my makeup right to make sure nothing shows. I eat right, I've used every product under the sun, and nothing is stopping these breakouts. OP, I grew up with horrible disfiguring cystic/nodule acne (ya know, acne vulgaris) for all of my teenage and adult years. It has left a profound mark (lol) on my self-esteem and has effected the kinds of relationships I pursue, the kinds of jobs I apply for, and my overall happiness. I have been using Accutane for about 20 days now and it seems to be working, but I still have the scars. I also go on with my life, even though I am considering that laser surgery when I am done with this course of isotretinoin. I notice other people with really bad active acne and/or scarring who just act and carry themselves like they don't even have it. It's a state of mind, anon, more than anything. You have to decide you are more than just your appearance.

It'll get better m8. The first month or two are the absolute worst. After that, it only gets better. I'm down to my last package and I've been complimented plenty of times on my skin and just looks overall since three months into the treatment. You'll still end up with sort of, red areas, on your face but these will go away with time.

Hi OP. I would use dermablend and just spot conceal the red spots. I know that it would make me feel better. Dont apply it to your whole face though as the actual scarring will most likely need laser resurfacing. Anyhow dermablend i available at lot of stores and doesn't come off in water. Make sure you have good sun protection too because it sometimes makes skin flare ups worse. This person obviously likes you for you anyway but if a bit of concealer helps you then that' the one to go with.
