Serious question: where to cop rawhide laces? I mean good quality ones that have a bit of weight to them. The kind that you get with a new pair of Yuketen or Oak Street Bootmakers.

I ask because I'm having a hell of a time trying to find some extras for a few of my shoes that didn't come with them, although knowing where to get replacements in the future would also be nice.

You can see the kind of laces in the picture.

if you need to, trim it and just burn the edges with a lighter for a second

looks good, do you have any experience with them? at that price it seems safe to try anyway

red wing's are nice, my 8881 came with those laces and while they don't feel very durable they do look and feel nice.

i used them on one pair of boots for about 2 years then cut them in half for some shoes that i wore for another year. i would have put them on my new boots if they werent too short, theyre still fine

I'm just trying to decide what needle to get for lacing boat shoes

there was a needle for that kind of thing on another website I was on, but I don't know which needle would work for me out of the ones this place offers
