Well, it's a fairly addictive substance. Like any drug, you'll build up a tolerance.

I personally could never eat on the stuff, and it really fucks with your ability to sleep, even when you're not using.

Once I took Concerta (which is similar) and I had an orgasm without ejaculating. That shit ain't normal.

Yep. I don't take that shit except for rare occasions, but I had a close friend that constantly had to take it. Couldn't wake up without it, was taking ridiculous amounts all day to stay awake.

Coming down is a bitch, especially if you're already depressive or manic. They amplify physical effects of anxiety while you don't feel the emotions which are usually there to warn you.
It's expensive without a script. On my campus, they go from $5 (for generic brand Concerta) to $25 (for Addy XR)
