pretty much, I got a friend to pick up my size in London cause she was coming back. Had I bought it online i would have been smacked with a 10% tax charge as it was over 1000 dollars, getting it there meant she could claim the VAT back. So it was cheaper in two ways. I gave her a bottle of wine as a token of her effort.

I agree with once you know your size it's better, and US prices I've seen for Yohji are high, but they're cheaper than almost everywhere except Japan.
