i'm told that california and france have the best produce in the world. tbh i'm not travelled enough to verify this. but where ppl fuck up is garnishing their salads imo. i mean i could just slice up some kale or a tomato and chow down but what rly gave that salad flavor was: kosher salt, combined with some red wine vinegar, which helps the vinegar penetrate imo, ground black pepper, and the addition of freshly chopped parsley and rosemary from the garden.

not sure about cali but yes france gets DELICIOUS fruits, seafood and meat from all over the world.
Fish maybe rivaled with that avaliable in Saudi.
A lot of the foods produced and avaliable in the middle east are really exceptional.

I usually garnish w/ a tiny bit of balsamic vinegar, bit more olive.o, pepper and lemon.

Often reserve all my parsley for dicing and putting into my second rate fine salads since no one makes really yummy cold salads that aren't side dishes here.
