Hey /fa/, trying to change my wardrobe to more street wear, any good online stores for Australia? Am in Newcastle so Sydney isn't too bad of a trip for quality gear. Also what sort of things should I look for? Am new to this cheers

What are you wearing currently? What sort of clothes do you have?

Streetwear now is just some jeans, fancy sneakers, swaggy 5 panel cap and general shitty skateboard kid attitude.
Just google hypebeast and write down what you like and search for those items in local stores, cant be too hard.

Hey mate, I'm also in Newy.
There's not too much here, other than Rad and Abicus on Darby Street.
If you head down to Sydney it opens a lot of options. I'm not too interested in streetwear anymore, but when I was, my favorites in Sydney were Capsule, Espionage, Culture Kings, Supply, Footage, Carhartt and Incu (to an extent)

Then I would suggest Incu, Footage and Capsule as good starting points in Sydney. Espionage, Culture Kings and Supply are all about the hypebeast.

I normally wear chinos/basics, but now it's colder I wear black skinny jeans and the shoes in OP, or converse etc. Am trying to expand a bit from your stock standard industrie clothes

To add to my other posts, online stores in Australia are pretty much non-existent. There's theiconic, but it's not much cheaper than in store. If you need to buy online, I'd recommend just buying in bulk from an overseas store that offers free shipping for large orders.

Please do not become one of those kids wearing an Obey cap, chinos, burgundy vans and a Hershel Backpack. We have enough of them.

Online is good, but you can't really get a good idea of sizing, for instance Carhartt gear sizing is fucked, their medium tees fit like an XL over here. In-store is still the best option.

I'm 2nd year electrical engineering so jeans and new balance joggers everywhere, I'm still pretty new to changing my wardrobe so I suppose I'll go to Sydney or something to refine what I want to go for. I went through the whole roger David phase over summer, and after lurking the street threads and some waywt threads I think street is more age appropriate for me. Plus I don't really like the whole "indie" scene, more into hip hop if anything. Thanks though ill have a lurk of those sites you listed when I get home, still got a fair bit of experimentation to go through
