Try switching to a dandruff shampoo for a while. Only wash your hair every other day with this shampoo. Try doing it for a month and then go back to your regular one.
I used to have really dirty and greasy hair usually a day or two after I'd taken a shower. Then I used some sort of dandruff shampoo and when there was no more in the bottle I switched back and now my hair is amzn even after an entire week after I've not washed it. Not greasy or filthy in any way, yet still has a sort of "rough"ness to it you know? I can sort of set it how I want.
I don't know if it was because of the dandruff shampoo or something else, but try it out.

Okay /fa/ I'm pretty desperate. My barber fucked up my haircut and he's out of town for a couple of weeks.
I'm trying to do something like mike's hair but the problem is that the back falls down and looks like shit. Pic on left is with all my hair brushed forward and pic on right is with it back (how I want to style it). In the picture I have no product and I won't be able to get any for a couple of days. I have a razor cutter and scissors but I have no idea how to fix the problem with my hair hanging over the back. How do I cut this in order to prevent: the hair hanging over the back and making it look worse?

Not him, but IRL at an angle it would probably look like having a bicycle helmet made out of hair on.
Just flip your hair to your face and trim until a length is desired. Don't cut in a straight line, try to vary length somewhat, but unless you know what you're doing that's the best you can do.

I have a pretty noticeable forehead as well and so I go for the same style. There are a couple photos of Knoch including pic related that are pretty much the same style.

If you have a larger forehead and slick you hair back, it will only give give the illusion that you have a long head.

Type? You mean incredibly thick and dull? It grows out rather than down when it gets longer, and if it goes too long it goes all wavy and starts curling up. It looks incredibly stupid.
