I think that the tapered leg stays on for a while longer, but tightness is definitely out already.

Many drape heavy designers incorporate slim fitting jeans or trousers into their designs. You could argue that the men's black tight style is close to skinny jeans. I don't see them as a thing that will go out of fashion anytime soon.
