Today i was wearing light tan jeans, and a medium blue shirt and solid white Vans.

This was my attempt at "summer colors" and it looked lame to me.
Wtf should i have done different?

Maybe it was the mix of white shoes with light colored pants.

Well...are the colors you listed what you actually wear? Because if your preference is for darker tones, then stick to that and just buy lighter fabrics.
