pretty much, light blue jeans look awful anyway, I don't know why you would want them.
But if you insist, go for a dark navy linen jacket for a bit of smart-casual, or a rougher vintage brown leather jacket.

Light blue jeans are one of those things are universally unpopular on /fa/ no matter what style you subscribe to.

If you're a pale white person, preferably female I think they can be pulled off. Not sure about your original question

some of us just live in cold places dude

except for the very hottest days of summer where I live you still need a jacket in the evening, or even in the afternoon if it's windy

anyway OP I'm not totally sure because I've only recently started pulling out my light wash jeans and I don't have a wide selection of jackets but so far I think they look pretty ok with a white tee and a light grey cardigan

Look at how a few designers who have often favored lighter denim have used it: Geller, Ervell, Reid. This article is a little old and I think the styling is a TOUCH garish, but it at least has some ideas about mixing textures (suede) and colors (bold, rich tones).

Varisty jackets are always ok.
