Yes they will break in with time.

I use mine for work and they really comfortable now.

Just hope your actually doing something and not just walking from your dorm to class.

I'm afraid to do a lot of walking in them, about 40 minutes of walking the other day was taking skin off the back of my foot.

I may have weaker than usual skin there after a pair of Florsheims almost completely flayed me there, though.

Make sure they're the right size for you. If they are, just deal with it with tons of band aids

The skin will grow harder in that area so then it won't hurt anymore

Oh god I had the same with 1461, I just thought I was being a pussy. Polishing them softened up the leather a tiny bit. But other than that just walking in them helped.
