Hey guys, quick questions.

Are there fake Raf Simons Velcros?

A friend of a friend has a pair in box that he hasn't touched and never worn. I'm interested in buying them, but just wanted to check the possiblity of being fake.

A bit of googling indicated there were fakes made of the velcro but has anyone here heard anything?

Btw remember that i am not sacrificing anything by buying these items. Its not like i'm choosing to live in a ditch or with out electricity or without a car (i have a very nice ride) to support a clothing habit. It's just a regular purchase for me. I'm just wondering if the quality is way beyond what you can find cheaper, if the design is generally new/unable to be found elsewhere.

First off I always appreciate the design and want to give money to the person who took a risk and innovated. With high fashion that usually means the item is of high quality because harming ones reputation due to poor quality can be fuckin detrimental, especially in the fashion game where is so much competition.

When you talk about other competing for cheap, we're immediately talking about people like Zara, their business model is great but I personally dispise it. Steal other people's innovation and make it for cheaper (but not necessarily better).

That's basically where the main different in our outlooks lie, I think it's worth paying more for better, you rather pay a lot less for something that to you isn't that much worse.

All good bro, I'm not great with advice but I can tell you about all the mistakes I made so you don't have to lol. Hang in there, at times when I first started uni I was kinda wandering around, but there is so much happening it didn't take me long to get back up with new people and new things. Uni is bigger than school and it's actually easy to find people you get along as long as you look (like those extra curricular stuff)
