Dr. Martens, Yes or no? Wich colour?

>> No.6123997

yes, black
although i sold mine to my mate b/c i didn't like the way they looked when i looked down at them

>> No.6124008

In most cases, no unless you're a skinhead.

I saw someone on styleforum who blacked out a pair that looked decent though. They look kinda funky in colors other than black

>> No.6124035

yes, black

if you're not getting the for life ones then don't limit yourself to the 1460s, they sell a lot of different boots

if you have money to throw down on a better boot you should definitely do it, but there's nothing wrong with docs for the price

>> No.6124037

too chunly
soles are ugly as fuck
brand is associated with angsty teenagers

sorry, do not cop

>chunly
lol i tried to google that to see what it meant

anyway i like chunky boots and shoes why do they get so much hate

I think he meant chunky.
Anyways, is there a way I can dye the soles/stitches?

>> No.6124126

>>6124107
just go over the stitches with a sharpy

you can't dye the sole

tbh I don't think the stitching and soles are ugly but I'm kind of dickriding doc martens right now so w/e

I've got a pair of the 1460's in black (same as op pic for those who cba googling)
I wear them pretty much everywhere. Perfect for work as I work at a bar, great for pretty much anything I do out the house. Only times I don't are when I go clubbing or play football for obvious reasons.

You can find full black ones if you look about, they are always £180 though because they're from the Made in England range.

can I use sharpie over the sides of the sole?

>> No.6124156

>>6124153
no it'll look like shit

kids do that to converse and stuff all the time to make them all black (idk why when you can just buy them that way) and it looks shiny and purple and fucking awful

I found the styleforum post I was talking about with the blacked out ones

He used acrylic paint, it won't hold up over time but they're cheap boots so it's whatever.
