Shorts that are the proper size for your body. Don't get awful baggy shorts that are three sizes too big and hang a foot below your knees. Just get a regular, plain, properly fitting pair of shorts. Sit down in the dressing room and see how far up the leg they rise. If you're uncomfortable with the rise, get something a little longer. If you're okay with it then you're set.
