Took me a minute to recognize him.

Not that I have anything against people who change their style, but his take on gothninja was mostly hype-based anyways. I don't know him personally, so I can't say for sure, but his whole "couture-rapper" style seemed gimmicky from the start.

He's not really a trend-setter, moreso a trend-pusher or follower, and the hype-ninja style hasn't seemed to peak just yet. So I doubt it'll really catch on with his audience. (Though not that prep is a new "trend")

He looks good though. The clothes aren't really my thing but he pulls them off very well, better than 99% of the self-described "9/10 potential models" on /fa/. He's interested in modelling, I don't think there's anything wrong with dressing in a different style for a high-end magazine shoot.

So much fucking this. I hate when motherfucking commenters say some stupid shit like "omg I hate when models smoke don't they know that's bad for them? XD"

You dumb motherfuckers, it's an editorial. There's a stylist, a hairstylist, a makeup artist, and a photographer. The model, or in this case, rapper, have absolutely no say in the looks they're going to be shooting, you dumb fucks. I hate you all so much.

Not really, the sub-culture already existed before he emerged. I hate to say it, but Kanye paved the road and he just trailed behind. Like I said, not a trend-setter, but a trend-pusher. He's more like the frontman of a group; He doesn't actually create the content, only hypes it up.

He's changed his style just for this shoot you plebs, to fit in with the photos theme obviously. Are we just going to pretend that he didn't model for Hood By Air not long ago and that in his latest video his style is notably "goth ninja" or "street goth"? This trend hasn't even reached its peak yet.

Its really hard to get away with all black in the summer am I the only one who has a spring/summer wardrobe and a fall/winter wardrobe? Clothing doesn't decide your identity.
