Hey /fa/ I was wondering your opinion on if I should cop a pair of vans for 25$. Now I know you guys seem to like to shit on vans and all that but for only 25$ I think it might be worth it. I'm trying to get some nice low tops for summer. If you guys got better ideas for cheap good shoes post them ITT.

I have a bunch of pairs of vans, and I'm sure a lot of posters on here do too. They're beaters, they're for wearing around the house, or wearing with a pair of sweats. The reason we rag on them is because they are basic as fuck and don't look good. You can make them work with an outfit if you want, but there will always be way better options

Its people who post on /fa/ about vans, which are a basic ass shoe that you shouldn't need to ask about, that we're more opposed to. Who gives a fuck if you buy some 25 dollar canvas shoes

Well for summer bright is kinda nice. I like to wear brighter colors and occasionally a gray or white in the summer. If you think that doesn't work good just look at silas in the later seasons of weeds
