Hey guys, any recommendations for shoes that are similar style and price to dr. martens? I need a pair to get me by until I can save up and buy something better. Pic is the style I like, stuff that looks distressed / folded / aged.

Would buy dr martens because they are cheap but I hate the sole, and not sure if they are easy to break in and destroy, can anyone comment on this?

Sole looks very thin / nonexistant, but thanks will look into it. What do you call the type of shoe in my OP again? Derbies?

what you posted is a derby shoe (the pieces of leather at the bottom of the laces don't join). you'll want black derbies over oxfords if you want a more casual look (which i assume you do)

Thanks.
How good are my chances of finding used leather derbies in a vintage store / thrift store?
