Okay /fa/ I need your advice.

I know cargo shorts aren't /fa/, BUT, i tried, i really tried to wear nicer, classier shorts, but my thighs are fucking huge from cycling and squats and deadlifts.

I tried some fucking dockers (look like shit on me), Topman (wayyyyyyyy too tight around the thigh, fuck you you skinny british homos)

Another reason I wouldnt wear nicer shorts is because I'd have to wear fucking boatshoes all summer, and fuck not wearing socks. My feet sweat like crazy.

pic related is what I got, in this plum colour and also in a dark tan.

they are literally the only cut of shorts that look good on me and my legs.

now what i want to know is, what shoes are appropriate with these?

I need new shoes for summer, and usually i just wear cargos with a plain tee, or a polo or plain button up

looking for a shoe thats a little dressier than casual, but also isnt a fucking boat shoe.

white, gray, navy shirts prob.
i like the color on the shorts honestly. it's a strong color though so make sure to go more on the neutral side for you shirts, then brown or gray for shoes probably. i'd try some gray canvas plimsolls. hard to go wrong there

again, that being said, they're still cargo shorts.
i still really don't see how regular chinos dont fit but these do. they're the same but with ugly pockets on the sides. maybe try getting that same brand of shorts, just not cargo.
if you're wearing cargo shorts you're pretty much resigning any possibility of appearing fashionable

Really, thats fine when its summer for me.
It gets really hot and humid in Montreal, and i already sweat a lot. Summer is my IDGAF season.

As long as I look put together and not like a slob, thats all I care about.

When September hits and it starts cooling down, I'll be back to caring lol

I would never get shorts in that color personally, but it's fine if you like it and are comfortable in it.

Dude, you're an idiot. You don't need to wear boat shoes with chino shorts. Cargo shorts are pleb as fuck and I would never wear them. Just get an oxford, brogue, or plimsoll and you should be perfectly fine with chino shorts
