i use it, but its really bad for anything other than a pure source of visual imagery

don't base your entire style on what /fa/ thinks. If you think mensware looks cool (like the style of your pic), when just do it well. Nothing looks worse than trying to imitate a style and fucking it up.

Keep trying and you'll eventually find your own style. Like many other things in life, fashion takes time to do it well.

I do like Gothninja but I feel that I've only grown found of it from browsing /fa/ all day. I've never been much into dark clothes but I've never been very fashionable so.

this can be good, but at the same time there are certain things to consider: who was the designer? is there more to this collection? is it a streetstyle pic? etc

tumblr is good for pure visual vocabulary, for building your repertoire of images and things that look good in your head, but i encourage you to check out shows in their entirety and generally look in other places.

Yeah, pretty much, but only in the less cultured areas. In the cities like Melbourne, you see a pretty diverse set of styles
