I'm poor as fuck but questin an /fa/ bf. I feel like if I want sort of chance I'll need to try harder. I hear you /fa/ggots have pretty high standards for your qt3.14s.

atm I have no time because design school is the consumer of any and all time I have, but over the summer, I want to spend a little more time on my appearance.

Here's my most recent photo. halp?

Do what other plain-faced girls do. Start dressing edgy and alternative and draw attention to your peacocking clothes and hair and/or tattoos. Then show your musical prowess by listening to Mars Volta and Joy Division. Don't forget to be a feminist and a graphic designer/photographer (because actual art is for the talented).

you look qt, as far as hair and outfit goes.
I'd dye/pluck/pencil those brows a lighter shade, to match with the blonde hair.
Also, wear a foundation a shade lighter; your face seems to be a shade darker (almost as if inflamed) than the rest of your body.

I kinda like the look Cara goes for with the thick, defined brows. I mean, sure, plucking/trimming/maintaining is a must, but I'm not sure if I want them much thinner/less defined. What am I missing that she does to get that look?

As for foundation - I don't even wear it? Can you explain how it looks inflamed? Just redder?

To be fair, I was feeling pretty shitty that night and have been for the past few weeks since it's finals and all. For some reason they scheduled our intern show the weekend before finals week. Everyone looked a little trashed.

That seems to be the problem I run into the most. I know I have a good personality and I'm more understanding/agreeable with guys than most girls (simply because I've spent more time with them than girls - I actually find women far more perplexing, confusing, and downright annoying than guys). I get friendzoned a lot for being more of a fallback than a first-choice.

One friend said I should try to rock the sexy conservative librarian kind of look when my hair grows out more, since I'm like 5'10".

good question, I think it has to do with the length/thickness ratio. Cara's brows are actually really sleek. They also seem to be a little sparse - you can see bits of skin showing through them, which further offsets the strength.

I just sense a bit of a pinky undertone to it, that's it. I think you'd really benefit from at least a tinted moisturizer - a homologue skin tone from face to body looks extremely attractive.

Also, should I let my hair darken/brown out a little more? I've been dying it blonde but I'm thinking maybe it's time to let it go to its natural dirty blonde colour?

Op you can work the blonde hair/dark brow look, but you don't have the right face shape for a middle part, and from what it looks like you might be outgrowing some bangs too. I would recommend a haircut that's far more versatile, like a side part.
>pic related
Also I would grow your hair out a bit, which can be achieved by taking vitamins and doing deep conditioning treatments and getting a haircut every 6-8 weeks (but you only want 1/4th of an inch cut off, this is to remove split ends that will stop hair from gaining length)

That's my only advice I can give just from this picture. You seem perfectly fine otherwise, but maybe try a different glasses shape, since you're face is long and thin those glasses are too bold on your face.

Yeah. The blonde you have is a bit buttery and unnatural looking. Something darker and more mousy or cool toned would be nice to match your eyebrows a bit better. I love big eyebrows.

You can get your part to stay by continuously parting it in the same direction every time you do your hair, esp. when it's drying. Just try to break the habit of parting it in the middle.

And it's rare that middle parts suit anyone. I think they really only look good if you're doing some pulled back look like Arwen from LOTR.

No, it doesn't stop growing. Think of your hair like a rope. As time goes on, the ends begin to fray, creating split ends. If you don't cut them off, the "rope" will continue to unravel and your hair will become weak and ratty and prone to breakage.

When split ends form, it literally splits the end of your hair into two, and continues up the strand the longer you go without a haircut. This leads to hair closes to your scalp being split. When you brush your hair, it is easier to break off the split, weakened hair pieces and obviously if your hair is splitting and breaking off when you brush it, it will never grow, or at least the damage will make it take longer to make any progress.

keep your hair out of your face.

if you're trying to maximize a laidback/lazy look, just put your hair behind your ears, and pull out a layer so your ears aren't showing, pic related

you'll probably look better with your natural hair color.

makeup wise, you don't need to do a lot with your eyes while you're wearing glasses because most of it will get lost, and I think you could benefit more from lip color anyway.
just do mascara, and tightline if you're not ultra lazy
lip wise, find a good natural looking color that stands out more than your actual natural color (I like lipstains) and just put it on really fast.

Of course, you could do a lot more if you didn't want to be lazy, but this much would help you out quite a bit.

smile or something. your mouth/jaw is the only thing that's really making you ugly-ish/man-ish.

try not clenching your jaw, or practice holding your tongue between your teeth.
also, try drawing a tiny, fake cupids bow on your upper lip with some lip color.

T-shirt looks very drapey and doesn't quite go with the skirt, I'd have a shorter one if you're wearing a skirt OR keep the long top and have some black shorts underneath or something

>>5948812
I do like the cardigan but the needs to be either a bit lighter or just completely different. maybe. Also the denim shorts aren't good but I'm not sure what to recommend to replace them. Maybe you could just wear thicker leggings if you don't mind Korean guys staring at your ass

Op you look just this weeaboo I dated a few years ago, except a little thinner and a bit taller. She was fun and them titties were poppin' but good lord her friends were just awful to be around. Pretty sure they didn't like me because I said their favorite anime was lame, hhehehe. sooooo yeah we should probably like make love or something sometime idk

Also you dress kinda like her too, minus a Naruto headband. Take that as you will, I guess.

P.S. sage for kinda blogging c:

no, I'm IDF - entertainment design.

ugh that's almost an insult. The illustration department here is a clusterfuck of retards that can't draw for shit and just get accepted to feed money into the school. They all draw shitty homestuck or anime crap.
also thanks for the input, erryone
also also ran out of cara pics so here's some daft punk

first off stop dying your hair, and colour streaks scream weaboo nerdy girl sorry

i think you should also change your haircut, depending on your face shape try looking at a cute short bob or a side parting with lift and wavy hair

finally make sure you have clear skin, nice makeup and maybe try some contacts depending on whether you can put up with them or not, bring out you eyes.

fashion wise i have no fucking idea when it comes to women, but follow general rules like no crazy colours clashing and no outlandish or childish prints (e.g. vidya or anime), fit is also important as always.

final note: keep and eye on your weight, smile more and gain some confidence, attractive people can pull of things ugly people cant.

oh awesome, i saw some 6th term work from the idf students a couple months ago, was pretty amazing, you guys are beasts at sketching.

i just like the drawing a lot, doing fashion now, but still taking life drawing classes, addicted to 1min gestures.

for what its worth, i can recommend you some decent places in LA to get clothes. This was my advice btw:

Honestly OP you look WAY better in the OP than the two other fit pics. Which kind of works out since it's summer and I would recommend you just keep wearing basic sundresses with bright spring colors or dark navy. Stay away from blacks since you can save all the layering and shit for winter. And as for hair I personally like it, that kind of relaxed casual style but you may think about putting it up or straightening it and unless you plan on growing it out I would get maybe an inch or two cut off and go for a bob, if you do plan on growing it out see if you can't thin it out so it will have a more "wispy" look like you want. Also I would suggest either keep dying it light blonde or maybe another brown "mousy" color like other people have suggested. Do not go back to unnatural colors or streaks like a high school weaboo and as far as I can see your eyebrows look fine and don't need to be changed IMO. Finally please learn to smile and just work on your confidence level, you should walk out of your house/dorm and feel like you are going to get some attention. I'd say you're definitely qt material.

you don't NEED to do this.
wearing black and grey all the time is stupid.

I mean, you could do it sometimes, it does look sleek, but not all the time.

There's potential. The hair pls change it. I would say def grow it out more, the blonde could stay, just go one or two shades darker. Something more natural. Keep growing it out and keep it wavy with bangs perhaps? You need to completely change both of these outfits. basics pls, neutral and basic colored v-necks to start with, maybe a military jacket, go with some skinny jeans? Nothing to extraordinary. But lose the glasses. Your halfway their.
