/fa/ I need summer help.
I own one pair of shorts, and I'm going to LA this summer (I'm a poor Mainefag) so I want to try and look decent. I've got a solid winter wardrobe, but I'm pretty lacking when it comes to any summer fashion.
I'm looking more for styles, than any brand in particular.

Keep the shorts length to the guy on the far left of your picture. Colors, colors, colors. Look at your skin tone and match it.

It's hot, layers aren't going to be able to make you look /fa/ without making you look like someone who doesnt no how to dress in the heat.

American Eagle has a solid summer line this year. Banana Republic has excellent khakis but is ~40% pricier. H&M has the same low quality shorts as always but they look decent so if you aren't there long you could pick up a few pairs there cheaply. The biggest key to looking good in the summer is not being fat at all.

Where do you live? Here in AZ every bro and old man wears kohls cargo shorts. Mormon wear plaid cargo shorts a lot.

layers are a very good way at handling hot days. that said, la proper doesn't get that bad until you hit roughly the san bernadino county line. god gifted all the fuckers in san berdu all the awful weather.

not everyone wears shorts in La. It doesn't even get that hot, well hot to us but compared to other places its tolerable
get one or two shorts and just wear jeans as well.
