I honestly come to this board to laugh at "fashion." The only prospects I've gained are from male accessory threads.

I like to dress well, not fashionable. I don't know why but this board seems to have an odd idea of what dressing well is like.

I think it has been a positive influence. I already had my own taste and style in fashion when I got here, but I lurked and found some good inspiration photos and even proper advice.

Yep, I've discovered many brands, styles and found a lot of pictures for inspiration, as well as some really interesting theories about fashion. The WAYWT threads helped me think about what looks good in real life and what doesn't.
But you still made me feel low sometimes when I compared myself to dem qt male models.

good and bad. learned alot about designers and helped me develop my own sense of style. bad because i judge people now based on what theyre wearing and where they shop. lost a couple of friends cos they thought i was a closet homo for having an interest in clothes and i got depressed as fuck when i realized im actually ugly as sin

/fa/ helped me to give less fucks, in all honesty. I've also talked to some great people and read a lot of good posts. There's a reason that keeps us all coming back: it's those sometimes rare moments when we learn or think or laugh.
