If you own raws and boots and you wear anything but your raws and boots, you're just a poser.

Yeah, they don't fade too well, sadly. Only thing that's somewhat visible is wallet fade. But it's alright for an experimental pair at 20 dollars.

>> No.5926936

i'm glad i never spent big bucks on raws while i still thought they were cool
i'd rather have deep dark indigos or black that don't have fades
and i'd rather just buy levis than some japanese shuttle loom hand stitched vintage luxury jawns that are going to be too thick & hot for me to wear anyway

Here

Just got a pair of Japan Blue jeans that I'm looking forward to breaking in.

>>5927011
It's not really a matter of if they're washed or not, it's the quality of the denim. There is plenty of washed denim more expensive than raw. There is plenty of cheap raw denim too, i.e. unbranded. Depends on what company you're buying from.

>>5927011
Doesn't always. PRPS raws are often a fraction of the price of their distressed pieces. Same goes for a lot of other brands that offer the same jean in both a wash and a raw.
The sort of raws we tend to like on /fa/ are usually a lot more upmarket than your average pair of Levi's, and your average pair of Levis often has some sort of a wash.

Maybe. They're not great, not bad. Only really started the fade more at the start of this year. The back right pocket is getting holes and my crotch is about to blowout. So I got a new pair of jeans, ya know.

how old are they, and how often do you wear them on average per week?

>> No.5927341

>>5927325
Nearly every day, nearing 6 month mark. It could very well be due to the fact that I foolishly washed them initially before wearing because the tag said so, but I've also read from others who bought the ones with the stitching that they just don't fade all that well. Haven't soaked them yet, will do it in another month or so.

Jeans are alright for their price and they fit pretty well. Quality is decent for the price you pay, which should be 50 or less. They sell them anywhere from 70-100, but you can wait for sales.
