What does /fa/ think of Polos? As its getting closer to winter time, I figure I can't be chilling in shorts and a t-shirt everyday... Sooooo what does /fa/ think of Polos?

Looks best if you're muscular. Does not layer very well.

I'm slightly overweight though everyone seems to think I'm skinny-as-farqqqq (to use the /fit/ analogy, I'm skinnyfat)... Neither of these is muscular lol

So what kind of tops would you recommend for people of my build?

the most important part for a polo is not the fit but instead the way the collar is shaped, try on a few different ones from different brands and you'll see what I mean.

Long sleeves are pretty cool but just make sure that no matter what it's not on the bright side of the spectrum, if it is it'll come off as a part of a minimum wage job uniform.

Recommend any good brands or examples?

I've got a polo/sweater ish thing from asos for wearing around the home but lads, hardcore kids, asian men and old chubby white guys put a bad stigma on polo's so I tend to avoid.
Fred Perry and Ben Sherman make nice ones, I'd probably cop FP x Raf if I had a shorter torso but other than that I'll leave polos to the lads.

Okay, if we're leaving polos to the lads what are some good tops to wear during Winter :P

Ralph Lauren obviously make nice polos, as do Moncler, Lacoste, Burberry and Psycho Bunny.

>> No.5903606

I wonder if ralph lauren made a streetwear collection would it be named yolo polo

I live in polos during the summer. Sunspel, Avon Celli, Kent Wang all make good ones.

Around here only high school negroes wear polos with horses embroidered on them. If that's you, then Polo is also a choice.
