How would you style something like this?

Why would anyone buy a mall jacket when reproductions of originals exist?

What do you mean by mall jacket? The one posted in the Op is: https://y-2leather.com/en/products/137

If you're confindent it's you're size, yeah.
There were a few A2 contracts that had black leather.

I just got a jacket similar to this and I'm honestly not wearing it much, feels hard to pull off, for me @ least.

You think it's hard to style with or just difficult to wear?

>> No.18362930

>>18362914
Hard to style for me personally but I'm also in an area where it doesn't get that cold. When I bought it the allure of the jacket had me, they definitely have an aura about them, especially when they have some wear or patina.

By getting one in a single color instead of that strong brown-black contrast. The one I have is black with white fur, for example.
Then a good pair of boots (combat or work boots, or anything with a high toe), pants in a suitable color (dark for black leather, dark or mid natural colors for dark brown, any color other than black for light brown). And some sort of hat or cap, to compensate for how wide the collar makes your neck. In my case, I've got one a flat cap, but a narrow-brimmed hat or even a beret would look good as well, I assume.

The M422A with fur collar looks really comfy. Fully lined with red rayon as well so it'll slide on easily.

To answer OP's question, wear what was period correct. High waist pants, button up shirt, suspenders.
The poor bastards who were sent on those bombing missions, which had a high chance of not making it back, lived in a home with 6 siblings and grew up through the depression.
One comment heard from the Brits though was that americans seemed like "giants" because the euros had much worse living conditions all through WW2.
