the fit is going to be a lot roomier, airier and easier to move around all day in than anything based on levis 501's.
you can get them a variety of places. there's budget options like bronson high end options like

2 weeks is very frequent for denim especially if you're not a construction worker. its antimicrobial. do you wash wool every 2 weeks? no you wash it as needed for stains and never when unnecessary. denim you can be more lax on because the fabric gets nicer instead of shittier with repeat washings but the same logic applies. office guys who don't live in florida can probably go quite a long time without smell.
if you want fades like that pic you wanna go half way between the never wash and wash all the time crowd. 6-8mo for first wash 1-3mo after that wash sooner if needed of course.

100% wool lined wax jackets take 10-30 years to build up a stink typically.
unlined waxed jackets will never smell if properly maintained.
wax will oxidize and smell but the wax can be re-heated or the jacket can be re-waxed. only way they develop permanent smell is if you let the cotton mold from long term neglectful storage. its a problem with vintage jackets but not a new one you owned its entire life unless you're a retard.

Here’s the s510xx. I typically fit really nice into samurai’s size 34 waists, but I ordered this size 35 so I can get a more relaxed thigh and just cinch the waist with a belt. The waist is definitely a little loose compared to my IH 634 size 35, but the belt completely eliminates any issue with sagging. To me, this is a perfect 60s 501 silhouette with a mid rise and minimal, balanced taper. Thigh width is exactly where I like it. Also, their 21 oz is arguably their best denim. Perfect amount of texture while still maintaining a soft, smooth touch and having a relatively loose weave. I like their 15 and 17 oz, but sometimes it’s just way too textured

Yeah, I’m one of the s3000 and IH634 anons. I wear the s3000 in my actual normal waist size since the leg on that cut is already widened for my slightly thicker thighs. Compared to the s3000, the s510 (increased once in waist size to provide more of a relaxed leg) still has a slightly lower rise, but it is slightly higher than the IH634 in the same waist size. The color of the dye and texture of the fabric is great. I bought a large and it fits like a medium slim. That is fine for me because I do have some slim straight and relaxed tapered jeans.

some brands operate their own mill, some don't. samurai goes the extra mile and they grow their own cotton, dye their stuff in house and everything. their fits and look isn't quite my style but it used to be -- and their shit is very nice.

Both, somewhat. Even on my metalhead days I listened to ther stuff that could be considered not metal. I didn't make much difference between, say, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath and AC/DC, Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. I was more into 70's hard rock and southern rock than pure metal. Eventually I started branchig out to thore styles and genres and dressing as a metalhead stopped making sense to me. Plus I got tired of not getting laid ever.
These days I very rarely listen to metal.
