Sure,digital cameras existed in the 90s but they weren't common and they were treated like regular cameras. You'd bring it to a party, take a couple pics, then put it away. Every now and then you'd have some artsy fuck taking everyone's pics and "documenting the experience" or some bullshit but somehow it wasn't intrusive, they just faded into the background. You could go to a party, get fucked up, make out with whoever you wanted, maybe fuck them in a bathroom, and go home safe in the knowledge that there was zero evidence any of it ever happened and nothing could ever bite you on the ass as long as you weren't a complete asshole and worn a condom if you got laid. I genuinely pity anyone born after 1990, you have no idea of what you missed, an inconsequential gap of a few years changed your whole childhood compared to mine.

I would murder all of you and your families for a chance to go back.

i got to experience the very tail end of it. the iphone came out while i was in college but it was still only early adopter applefags using them & social media hadn't taken normies by storm yet so it didn't ruin parties. i have almost no photos of myself between age 12-25 except the occasional candid and i'm kind of glad its that way.
the only regret i have is having to witness normies ruin the internet. i miss when it was only high iq rich tech nerds on the web. even around when 4chan started it was already going to shit.
