My Christopher Ward Sealander is great for my tiny wrists and their case is really beautiful. Runs like 2 spd on a bad day.
Overpriced.
They send me catalogues filled with articles about gay trans people of color.
My favorite watch strap, really nice suede that polished up from wear.
Apparently the clasps are too long on the bracelets, I got a strap version because of this.

And he said there is simply no better place to live. QoL to Cost of living is probably the best in the world. So yeah, if you're serious about it, check out Thailand. There's no in-between. Fortunately, it being so small, thin and light means you can get away having it a little bit more loose, since it wears more like a bracelet.

yeah, supposedly 14400bph, it's great because it doesn't have to line up to seconds markers to look good, and you're not getting good alignment on swiss quartz until you go over 500€
it does look less flowing than mechanicals
if you own a mechanical seiko movement of some kind, they're usually 21600bph, so just a tad less smooth than that

I wanna talk water resistance. I know if it says a 100m water resistance it doesn't actually mean you can go 100m deep under water with it, which is beyond retarded. So how do you measure how deep you can actually go?

>> No.18048936

>>18048906
It depends on the watch. Some companies actually test each individual watch so if they say X meters of water resistance, that’s actually how deep it can go before water gets in the case.
Other companies actually test to 125% of stated WR to give you a buffer.
Cheaper companies might just test 1 out of every 10 watches.

But to your point, 100m WR means that the watch is designed to withstand water pressure equal to that of 100m depth

100m water resistance is actually supposed to 100m water resistance. The watches are tested in vacuum chambers. Assuming the watch has been around a while and the seals have dried up, the water resistance could be lessened significantly. Stuff like screw down crown and caseback help the WR rating.

L M F A O. five simple letters, found throughout our great planet and animal kingdoms. found in the greatest written works to ever grace our humble eyes, from the magna carta to our modern constitutions. however, the simple fervor these letters cause when assembled in such a fashion, an acronym so artificial yet natural, that it makes the average consumer quake in horror. Yes, laughing my fucking ass off, causes sheer chaos within a world we do not see. A world we ignore, rather willingly. this world is known as the watch thread. full of reprehensible polyester clothes wearing queers that cause great damage to our planet buy purchasing the trashiest of fast fashion. full of weebs wasting our precious atmosphere traveling to countries they are inherently very unwelcome, bringing more trash and pollution with them than any gas engine vehicle of the past 100 years. yes this is the watch thread, where the consumer cries in silence as he is insulted yet again, LMFAO. join me, as we explore this dire world of validation and shame.

That would be a decent choice, but FC watches also tend to be pretty large. A 40mm watch with an open, white dial and a thin bezel will look like a dinner plate.
That might not be a bad thing depending on your wrist size but it’s important to try before you buy.

Other brands that you might want to consider are Longines, Nomos, Baume & Mercier. Even Tissot might have something you might like.

Also look into gray market and/or preowned. There are good deals out there since dress watches depreciate like crazy.

You don't buy a Tudor for the dial or the finishing overall. You can't compare it to a GS objectively. Just like nobody buys a Rolex for its movement finishing or decoration. Rolex and Tudor have other qualities, and mind you fhet black bay ceramic is my most worn watch in my collection. This doesn't change the fact that the dial is absolute dogshit.

Just the pain of being a gook shit. They have skinny as fuck wrists so even a 40mm looks big on them. That he wears that hideous giant and fat Tudor, tho, that would look too big even on Archie, that's another story. I mean that's just shit taste plus selective attention.

Anyone who still doesn't get that Tudor is terminal, my sympathies. The brand is slowly dying, going the way of what it was before people couldn't afford Rolex, nobody gives a shit about it. It's a low rent Breitling, at least Breitling invented something good (Navitimer).
