No, this is that watch perfected. It won't break when you're running a jackhammer, the backlight is way better, the case and band are much better quality plastic and you won't have to replace the band before the battery, it has a countdown timer, and unlike the f91w it doesn't look tiny on normal-sized wrists. It has to match some of the colors of the watch in my opinion. So, you have black, green or even some red one. Personally I don't like the camo one, even though it has black and green. Maybe you can go to a store to see in person, and then buy online.

My latest Casio. It has a lot of features - several time zones, timer, stopwatch, and 5 alarms.
The analog hands show the current local time, and the digits display whatever special mode you're using.
The black circle in the top right counts out seconds, in addition to the second hand on the analog display.
In theory it's very practical but somehow I don't like it much. The buttons feel rougher than expected for Casio, and the analog display is not pleasant to look at. A main digital display would have been better. The seconds pinwheel is a pure gimmick that is only there because the seconds hand is so tiny.

Nothing sensible, that's what annoys me. It has ten divisions. Starts out the minute blank, then fills in one slice every second till it's full, then starts emptying one slice per second etc. It's like a ten- second mini dial.
But there's already a second hand on the analog dial so it's fairly pointless. Could have used that space for something else.

>> No.18031594

>>18031590
I see. And yes, I agree it could have used that corner for something else. The analog watch is very useful when you are doing other operations and you still need to check the time. For example if you use a Casio as a diver, and you want to keep track of the diving time with the countdown timer, you'll be able to check the time on the analog display, especially because you don't want to press the buttons underwater. (And tangential question: does the square G-Shock have this function?). But yes, the seconds pinwheel is kinda useless. Still a nice watch though.

It's the best, I wear mine when I do firefighting or any rough outdoor stuff like canyoning or something.

Every single gshock watch looks like a fucking happy meal toy, big bulky cunts of things that would get snagged on fucken everything.

The F-91W is just fucken perfect, small, has a timer, day, date, shits over everything else.

I quite liked it when I was eight and in terms of actual telling the time functionality it’s perfect.
Not that this matters nowadays. You are weeping these hints as jewellery typically.
The main issues are the cheap and shitty buttons, the poor LCD, the strap that will eventually break and the hideous backlight.
So it’s cheap. That’s it.

>Wearing these as jewellery essentially

Never understood this idea. Watches aren't obsolete. I look at my watch dozens and dozens of times per day. I can't always access my phone and don't want to pull it out and unlock it just to know the time or remind myself of the date. Watch is far quicker and more convenient. I also don't want to risk getting distracted by something in my phone.

You are wearing the wrong watch for the wrong activity.
>firefighting, rough outdoor stuff like canyoning
That's when you need a G-Shock.

And no, you're wrong, it's cool and serious at the same time.
The watch you're wearing isn't certainly ugly, but it's for nerds and wagecucks sitting in front of a screen all day.

Based. It's not unusual to see rich people wearing cheap digital watches. I've seen photos of Bill Gates, Ryan Gosling and Idris Elba wearing Casio digitals and Hank Paulson wearing a Timex Ironman. Picrel is a former CEO of Intel with his Casio F-105W.

A cheap digital watch makes a lot of sense for a rich person, even if the low price is irrelevant: it requires nearly zero maintenance and attention, it's extremely accurate, it has an alarm, and it's totally uninteresting to thieves.
