I've seen the pictures posted in this thread. The clothes themselves are quite good and the fits are not that bad either.
The problem is that he's kinda old/fat/ugly to pull that shit off. For instance in the first fit, if he was wearing normal trousers and a classic overcoat, it would fit him much better, simply using that sweater as a semi statement piece.

That's not what I meant.
What I said is since he's already kinda old/not in the best shape physically, trying a full blown "fashion" fit wont work on him. Just choose a statement piece (i.e: that sweater, or those jacques marie mage glasses, or those boots with heels) and tone down the rest.
Even though those fits are kinda simple, he's too old to be mixing pants with some zippers, with some oversized frames and an overcoat that also kinda looks like a kimono (wouldn't be surprised if that's from visvim or a similar brand).
