I am mildly autistic and want to buy a default outfit to wear for the rest of my everyday life. I'm thinking about stuff like adidas track suit, calvin klein underwear, lacoste polo, vans slip-ons or specific cuts from high end brands. Price and type doesnt matter i am willing to adapt to whatever as long as qualitative.

I've been steadily moving towards this for a few years now.
I only own white dress shirts, black cap toe oxfords, and suits in either black or dark grey. My ties are getting increasingly simple of just dark reds, blues, blacks, and greys. The quality is good, and the style is austere.

OP here, this thread is not really useful so far. LLBean and Levis 501 are the only interesting mentions

I'm looking for brands and items that will (most likely) be produced and sold the exact same way 20 years down the line.

Might want to think about stocking up now. We’re cycling back to a depression, austerity, & war period and global trade could be impacted. You’d have to make sure your storage space is kept at a good humidity though. Either excessively high or excessively low humidity could damage clothes over 20 years.

just find something you like from decent brands and buy 20 copies of it.

start with 5 copies in your rotation, and swap out items as they wear out

>> No.17953172

M65 Parkas, sherpa lined "trucker" jackets, Levis, wranglers, 5.11 or any "tactical" style cargo pants, any sort of hoodie, Vans, converse, various models of Nikes or Adidas shoes, cowboy boots, Loggers boots, moccasins, the list goes on and on and on. Fashion is a sinewave and what was old will become new again and what is new will eventually become old. I think that there are certain staples that define generations and the iconic pieces will continue to exist and whatever you choose will always be produced in some capacity.

Have a tailor make you three matching 3pc suits and 7 white collared shirts.

It will all wear out but the same tailor can make the exact same garment for a replacement
