Tried dior Fahrenheit at a shop today - loved it. It's got the same style as ombre leather, but inside my budget.

Should I go for it as a 20yo baby faced student who likes to dress well? Is it something that gets young girls at clubs and dates, or is it more for older guys? Apart from my appearance I have been told that I sound and seem very mature for my age tho so smelling like an older guy makes sense to my personality I guess

Fahrenheit is amazing (even the current stuff) but try to find a well preserved vintage bottle with the planet box and old style cap if you can. It's so much better if you can even imagine, there is more soapy chamomile/honeysuckle and ozonic methyl octine carbonate-violet leaf in the old formula. It doesn't smell more like gasoline than the new stuff but has a mossier "burnt woods/tar" drydown than the new stuff. Get grey flannel too while you're at it for the purely soapy/mossy version of this scent profile. Unfortunately I can't wear my vintage grey flannel, my girlfriend made me stop because I'm literally allergic

Have vintage frags always been wildly expensive, or is that a recent thing? Frag prices have inflated in general, but every hobby and fashion seems to have gotten more and more raped by reseller scum post-pandemic.

When people casually suggest scoring vintage bottles I can't tell if they just haven't checked vintage prices in a while, or they're actually paying x5-10 the price for what is sometimes a marginally better formulation.

I looked at this one a while back, but I was looking for something brighter and more citrus/fresh at the time. After having bothered the Dior counter ladies at least five times now to try their bottle (shoved in a drawer out of sight), i'd thought I'd made my mind up about it, but the sale has triggered me once more.

Eau de baux and tobacco are more feminine and less complex versions of Guerlain shalimar. Guerlain shalimar has the spicy vanilla and more. If you like the tobacco note in tobacco Vanille you can consider Burberry London. It also has a cheap synthetic tobacco note.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1,000 now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. there are a myriad of studies correlating the mhc to mate choice (not gonna bother linking those, because if you actually are interested in studies you know how to search for them), and then there's the study linking fragrance selection to mhc/serotype. in that study, the authors also reveal that people don't know what they like to smell on others (no correlation found), but the mhc correlates to certain scent preferences for themselves. there are also multiple studies correlating scent as well as mhc to mate selection, however 4chinks thinks my post is spam if i post more than one, apparently. so here's the study about fragrance preference
