Its a subculture called 'roadman'. Roadmen are basically young people that are into crime, drugs, gang violence and want to show people that theyre hardened warriors of the road. Most roadmen are pussies and the other half will stab someone to death because their idols who are grime rappers pretend they do it (sometimes they are criminals)

It really is lame but the kids gotta get into something when theres nothing to do. Turns out a lot of people are into macho gang violence right now.
