He says this way the sole stitching will last basically forever, and honestly Dainite itself is kinda indestructible.

They're basically the same boot in terms of construction and material. The leather I beleive is not exactly the same but it behaves almost identicaly.
The Beckmans have a stiffer leather and a leather midsole. They're discontinued, sadly.

Thanks. Yeah I've heard they are made by Lofgren too. I just thought the boot and leather looked nice. Also the boot is 6.5" so slightly taller than the average service boot, which I like. Although I would prefer a 360gyw like Lofgren over the 270 on these.

Do you own Lofgrens? I only own one pair of high end boots(C&J chukkas). Some people say you should get Lofgrens in same sizing as UK brands while other say you should get same as in Redwing/Alden Barrie.

Well, not the whole time. the picture OP used for this thread is my pair of whites, and at the time of the picture, they had about 4 days of wear. im at day 7 now, and they still have a way to go to be broken in, but each day is a little better than the last. I wouldnt say they are the most comfortable boot ever yet, but people say they wont be for 2-6 months depenmding on how much you wear them.

but i imagine that the other picture of the zipper boots, those probably dont have 6 months of life in them. the zipper will prob blow out in a couple months, and the "leather" will crack. the liner is 100% gonna smell like shit
