don't wear that shit hiking it sheds microplastics into all the water sources you hike around and poisons animals and turns the frogs/zoomers gay. fleece is so bad for the environment, especially the high pile fleeces in style right now, much moreso than other synthetic garments because it constantly sheds fibers everywhere.

the actual Tank (the small version not whatever xbox huge ones they might also sell now) seems to work well with a wide variety of outfits despite being a "dress" watch, so I'd say no, it won't look out of place. Having said that a clone is kind of lame, if you want a tank watch but are too poor for a Cartier just look for a vintage Seiko tank. I have one and it looks wonderful but unfortunately the movement in it is broken, so I don't wear it.

Currently wearing a cheap gold tone manual-winding Timex. The seller said it's from the 70s but I have reason to believe it might be from before 1963 and it actually keeps pretty much perfect time. The first couple days I had it, it would lose a minute every 12 hours but now that I've been wearing it, it seems to have worked itself out and won't lose a minute over a whole week as long as I keep it wound.

Peacoats are kino, go Boondock Saints with straight blue jeans, or real /tip/ with the rest of the oufit. I never button bottom obviously but sometimes also leave top unbuttoned, same on peacoats, just to not cram my suit.

Don't wear with a hoodie. Only did that going to class hungover. With a crewneck preferably alma mater is acceptable.

I see flannel in tip sometimes, but were heavier wool flannels like this ever used as layers within the fashion? I came into a vintage woolrich similar to this but blue, and am considering removing the pockets and using it as a layer under a sweater and jacket on particularly freezing days.

As a relative poorfag i couldnt tell you if shoes over $500 are really that much better.
But shoes under a certain price are going to have noticeably worse construction, meaning they'll wear out much faster, and cheaper materials, meaning they'll feel worse. Maybe they could look and feel fine in the dressing room, but walk in them for a day and you'll feel the difference, a few months and you'll see the difference. The most obvious thing is welted vs glued soles.
Also if you develop an eye for the fit and details of shoes, you'll notice that ultra-cheap brands don't actually look the same. They might make the same general type of shoe, but there's often something off about the design that makes it less aesthetic and flattering than it should be.

$300 is babbys first tier. might get you some shitters from a china made meme brand like meermin. pretty limited range of options here. very few nice shoes come to mind that cost this little.
$1000 gets you gyw shoes in almost any last/style. can start affording cordovan at this point. lotsa nice features that savants would pick up on. don't bother buying anything this expensive if you're just getting into fashion or a personal style

Responding to an earlier anon about the Barbour jackets. Nobody told me bedales were fucking huge. The arms are huge and the neck opening is too, not sure if I should keep desu or size down. Also, the worst part is that I wanted sage but the sage is thornproof. I just discovered that the thornproof is extremely rigid and stands up on its own, it looks terrible when worn desu. Also, I thought that the appearance wouldn’t be that different in person but I was wrong. Thornproof looks so shiny and waxy, almost sweaty looking but sylkoil looks nice and matte, and doesn’t give you wax hands the second you touch it.

I guess I’m forced to get the sykoil (olive) even though I prefer sage. I’ll probably size down or just hope it breaks in.
