I lost my sense of smell for a few months when I had Covid in 2021. It came back, but a lot of things smell different to me now. Most colognes just have a nauseating chemical smell now, especially citrus heavy ones. Deeper notes are pretty much the same to me though, but I used to love the clean citrus ones. I’m not huge on dark, sweet, “date night” scents naturally, but they’re about the only thing that doesn’t smell gross now.

Is there any way to fix my sense of smell? It’s been two years, and I miss the old stuff I used to wear.

Bois Imperial is the ultimate woody fragrance. With it's Akigalawood note it smells like photorealistic sawdust, niche enthusiast even describe it like authentic fresh cut plank of wood. Sprinkle some pepper and basil spices over and fresh it up with some grapefruit and vetiver.
The longevity is beastmode and the sillage captivating, the whiff is not only always right beside you, but it also act like your older brother behind your back, giving you some out of this world self esteem.
If you look on all the advantages you'll ask yourself that Bois Imperial must be expensive like all the Chanel or Amouage try to do.
But even here, the master perfumer Mr. BISCH, mixed the 97% natural ingredients in a way that's only cost you 70 bucks.
A truely outstanding gem and a scent for gods on earth.

like I like the scent of picrel a lot, but often then change what things or stocked at the shop or maybe they just discontinue the line of fragrance or something, or sometimes I'm in different places where they don't neccessarily stock the same stuff as back home. If you're smart with your purchases you can absolutely make a profit. Most of my bottles were bought years ago through Facebook groups or with exclusives discounts for very good prices, and now that so many companies have jacked their prices up, second-hand prices also go up. Honestly a better ROI than accruing interest in a savings account plus I get to smell nice at the same time.

My chick was wearing Viva La Juicy I know I know, I got her a bottle of Soleil Blanc which is a bit mature for her (squishmellow girl) so I got a bottle of Italian Love for women and she wears it every day. She's Latina so the coconut smell works with her natural vanilla/cumin odor.

You know it's clearly very dated but not that bad especially if it's a professional setting try 1881 by Nino Cerruti. It has that crisp, musky almost Barber Shop fragrance but less dated and "Grandpa's plaid suit jacket in the very back of a wood panel closet you dug out for an estate sale after he passed"-ish.

fuck, all Nicolai frags i tried so far are either very good or downright awesome
>very good
Patchouli Intense, L'Eau Mixte, Baikal Leather Intense, Cedrat Intense, Cap Neroli, Eau de Yuzu
>awesome
Iris Medicis Intense, Caravansérail Intense, Amber Oud, Vetyver, Odalisque, Bois Belize Intense, New York Intense, Riviera Verbena
she also offers 30ml bottles which are close to the price/ml ratio of her full bottle prices
must. resist. urge. to. buy. more.

>SOTD: PdN Vetyver
vetiver + spices (pepper, cumin, clove) + oakmoss base, could see year-round use (might be just a bit too spicy for hot summer days), office friendly, good performance

I just want to brag... I started to make my own stuff mixing essential oils into mango butter. So, so good. Obviously doesn't last nearly as long as store-bought perfume, but when I need a quick hinoki-bergamot-tangerine fix, it's great.

Seconding NAC! The rest are kind of optional imo. Zinc is probably the 2nd most important. I would recommend Molybdenum before I recommend the rest.
If you >>17878821 only get one thing out of these, get NAC. Also don't obsess over the different forms of zinc, as zinc in general is absorbed well from supplements, no need to get all those expensive forms.
