Lassale is the US equivalent of Credor which are exclusive in Japan/SEA. Both use the same case/movement, only the naming is different. It never really took off so Seiko scrapped the brand.

Usually a watch will run a little fast in some positions and a little slow in others, so it's possible to balance it out so that if it averages out to be fast while you're wearing it when you take it off you can put it down in a position where it's slow and it'll correct itself with minimal need to pop the crown and set it. Yeah, your time still won't be accurate to the second, but if you're just trying to avoid the need to set your watch it's passable.

GS isn't that great other than the dials and the spring drive movement. what a shame. they need to hire some real designers or just go back and look at their old watches.

1. the bracelet sucks. until GS gets their hideous bracelet right, it's a waste of a watch for me. no one wants that thing. get it right.

2. the modern 62 GS case is way too thick. how hard would it be to cut a couple of mm? some models are just excessively large as well, like the divers or GMTs. clown sized.

3. the date window sucks. just get rid of it. what's with modern seiko's obsession with sticking in date windows on every piece?
