How do I deal with x stain?
>mud: allow it to dry then brush off

No they are filled with synthetic materials aimed at instant comfort but will not hold up to actual use.

Considering buying these black boots, but my entire wardrobe is geared towards brown boots. If I wanted to switch to black boots would I have to get an entirely new wardrobe with greyscale clothing? Or can I mix black boots with earth tone clothing with no issue? Like these black boots with khaki chinos, would that be a faux pas?

Bros, I bought a pair of roughout 350 cutters last week. My first pair of Whites and after breaking them in, I can confidently say that the Whites hype is well deserved. For me it depends on the type of boot, type of leather and color.
Some boots look better when worn in, others look better the more crisp they are.

How to size Alden's Van last (LHS loafers - both calfskin and shell, if the materials have any effect)?

I have the Indy 403's in 10E and they fit well. I generally wear 10E in most boots -- even EE/EEE sometimes just for extra room in the toe.

What's (1) a good size for the LHS and (2) the range of sizes that will work, in case I find a pair on the secondary market?

I put my Vibergs up on ebay a week ago and still nothing, even put them at much lower price than others.
But my Vibergs are the most expensive shoe I want to get rid of, and I'll have to pay out the ass on shipping fees.
On my other shoes it's probably not even worth to sell them and ship them. Probably just put them in a box and forget about them.

You can be a fresh no name, but if you can pony up the money and the MOQ, you can buy the best grade. Try it yourself, pick up the phone and call W&C.
Do you know what W&C "top" grade is called? Standard! They don't grade it using redditors imaginary scale of quality like "this hide will crease tighter than that hide". They grade it based of percentage of surface flaws, and W&C is highly tolerant to all that.
In real life, the treatment that close, big order firms will get is being first in line of delivery and priority delivery when there is a shortage (which dont happen a lot since people love eating beef. this is more evident with Shell cordovan).

325 is a bit more round. Not sure how to explain, but 325 becomes flatter more gradually, 363mod is a more classical last.
In terms of fit, 325 feels wider, more volume, around the same at the instep. 363mod looks way shorter, but doesn't fit that much shorter. +0.5 is possible, maybe even better for me, if you don't mind the extra instep space (can also get it last laces open to reduce instep a bit). If more width is needed, you can have it feathered at width, that's what i did at least because i felt the ball of the foot was in the right space and the heel was good.

CXL is CXL so idk what you're trying to say. the materials throughout the boot are totally fine and the boot is constructed well

you can have a preference for other boots/brands but to say GS' diesel boot is dogwater is just cringe. judge it fairly. it may be budget but it's good enough for 98% of people and can be a boot that can run well for like 1-2 decades of everyday use probably

I used my Doc Martens as a starting point to get into boots. I have them for 3 years at this point and only maintenance I've ever done was wash it with wet cloth, but usually I just let rain clean it lmao. I even took them into forest many times(It was never planned, I would obviously use different shoes for a hike). That being said they are only pair of shoes that even survived 3 years in my life and they still seem basically as a "new". As a next pair I will get something more legit, don't know what yet.

I've been wondering what do people mean by saying that they are shit, break easily don't last that long? What does it mean exactly in terms of years? Every single pair of shoes I've ever gotten before that weren't Ultraboosts or Yeezy 350s survived like 9 months tops. I feel like 3 years is really good deal and I can Definitelly get at least 2-3 more years and probably even more. They also helped as a conversation starter with few girls

I have a pair of black oxfords, plain cap toes, no brogues or medallions or anything, and it's so good.
You have a safe formal choice to fall back on no matter what, it's peace of mind that you are ready for any circumstance. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I am thinking of getting a second pair of oxfords in dark brown vegano from TLB, maybe a quarter brogue adelaide, just to have an alternative. But it's a low priority.

For everyday office wear (not formal) you can do split toe derbys, loafers, suede chukkas. I don't own any chelseas, they're a little too fuckboyish.
