How do you deal with acne /fa/? I am legit about to kill myself over some acne scars, i had a few show up beside my nose on one side, used a blemish removal cream to get rid of them since they were quite painful, now i have these dark spots and a big scar sort of thing going down one side of my face from my nose

Is this permanent? Legit about to off myself because of this if it's not fixable

It's not huge, but the scar left this VERY noticeable dark spot, some sources say it goes away naturally after a while, others say it's permanent which fucking scares me to death

I still get pimples and have oily skin even though I shower twice a day, don't eat sneed oils or fried foods or processed foods, have bamboo sheets I change every week (pillow case every other day - flip it over every night) and am 39 years old. I use Zitstika acne face wash.

It's frustrating but then I realized if this is really my only problem in life that I'm worried about, and I'm in good shape, and not fat or ugly, I'm still way ahead of most other people. Honestly it only started bothering me once I got clean and sober in 2022.

About the suicidal rumors, I took accutane and it didn't do anything to my brain. The only thing it does is dry you. Your lips will be dry, that's it. I've never had any acnee since.

Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation, so over time it will heal any acne scars. There is no magic fix, acutane might work for new acne but it's a pretty powerful antibiotic, so it may cause all sorts of other issues, particularly digestive tract irritation and suicidal ideation (likely due to killing gut bacteria involved in serotonin precursors). Almost everyone that takes it gets extremely dry skin, so you'll need to pick up the aloe vera with vitamin C regardless of what you choose.

Don't let it define you. I bought a book some years ago on Feng Shui. There was a quote in there about how, 'seeking perfection is a mockery of God. Only God is perfect'. It stuck with me. Artists who practice Feng Shui will even put purposeful mistakes in their own work to ground themselves and remind the onlooker and themselves of their own humanity. It's a wonderful practice. One drop of another milk ingredient, even whey protein, and acne will appear again in a few hours.

I love milk products and had much in my youth but the diet changes made all the difference to me
